In 1989 Komatik was founded and is located in Vars, Ontario, Canada. We found sledding equipment very inaccessible and expensive for the Canadian sled dog enthusiast at that time. Therefore, we researched, developed, produced and marketed our own line of sled dog equipment. Since then we have crossed paths with thousands of enthusiasts.

Whether you are a newcomer, beginner, skijorer, recreational or professional enthusiast you will be treated with courtesy and respect. Your needs are our specialty and all of you are truly important to us.

Equipment produced by former sledders, that is our strength as a sled dog supply business. We used to race our own equipment and we believe in its durability, quality and value. We offer very competitive prices and volume discounts. Our commitment to you is to provide efficient service with minimum delay in delivery.

Our experience spans over 15 years. Some of our associates have 25 to 30 years experience in the sledding world.

If for any reason your equipment fails you, contact us and upon inspection - if it shows to be faulty - it will be replaced or repaired at no charge.
